Reverend Craig Harcum is a native of Baltimore, Maryland.  He was born on September 26 to Willie Harcum and the late Della Cheshire.  Reverend Harcum received his higher education from Morgan State University and Strayer University where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with honors (Summa Cum Laude).  He also has a Master’s degree from United Theological Seminary with a concentration in Urban Church Renewal and Leadership Development.  Furthermore, he will be pursuing a Doctor of Ministry degree in 2022.     
 

For ten years, from 2002 – 2012; Reverend Harcum served as Assistant to the Pastor and Chief of Staff and Operations for Greater Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Dr. Reginald Thomas, Sr.  In addition, Reverend Harcum has been blessed with many opportunities to preach, teach, and lecture at various local and national conventions, churches, and conferences.  He is an active member of the Kingdom Association of Covenant Pastors (KACP).  He also serves as the President of the George A. Crawley Fellowship and the Vice-President of the Greater Baltimore Simultaneous Revival Fellowship. Moreover, Reverend Harcum is a governing board member of The Living Legacy Foundation and a proud member of the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.   

For seven years, Reverend Harcum served as the Senior Pastor of the historic First Baptist Church in Baltimore, Maryland, the oldest black Baptist Church in the state.  Under his leadership, the church has faithfully promoted the gospel of Jesus Christ with an intentional focus on discipleship, fellowship, and stewardship. As a result of his strategic ministry efforts, the church has grown spiritually, physically, and financially.  In addition to having effective evangelism, the church also manages both residential and business properties, as well as operates a very generous outreach ministry that advocates for the needs of the community. 

On November 13, 2019, Reverend Harcum was called to be the Pastor of the Macedonia Baptist Church in Arlington, Virginia.  As a strong visionary leader, he is looking forward to building upon the great ministry foundation of Macedonia and transforming lives through the discipleship of Jesus Christ.

Reverend Harcum is the devoted husband to Rhonda Harcum and the proud father of two lovely daughters Charis and Kyndel Harcum.  He loves the Lord and stands on God’s promise that, “We are more than conquerors through Christ Jesus.”
